This is an 8 ft. mantle with oak leaf pattern
and traditional acanthus leaf design
(corbels).  It is made of oak with a medium
to dark finish.

Solid Cherry Custom Mantle

The "Bear's Den" Mantle

This mantle is made of oak with a country oak finish.  Definitely one of a kind!  It is a "full-wrap" mantle, wrapping completely around the chimney, measuring 9 ft. x 6 ft.  Be sure to notice the specialized treatments on all four sides.

The front of the mantle displays the bear... the two sides have the deer with oak leaves (with a built-in bookcase on one side)... the rear has two oak leaf branches reaching for the heavens.

Carolina Country Home

Mountaintop Home

There are three mantles in this large home in the Carolina mountains. Each was custom designed to fit the fireplace and decor of the room where we installed them. The study and the kitchen share a through-the-wall fireplace! All are hand-carved of solid oak showing the foliage in the area surrounding the home...
